Schleich GORILLA, MALE

The Schleich figures are modelled with attention to detail, hand- painted with care, and provide educationally valuable playtime. Male gorillas often beat their fists on their chests. They do so to show who is the strongest in the group. However, it can also be a kind of greeting. Gorillas don’t just walk on the palms of their hands, but also on their knuckles. For this reason, they’re also known as knuckle-walkers. Dimensions   5,8 x 10,7 x 9,4 cm (W x D x H) Age Recommendation   3-8 years

Schleich TINKER MARE

The Schleich figures are modelled with attention to detail, hand- painted with care, and provide educationally valuable playtime. The Tinker has a beautiful piebald coat, a magnificent mane, a full tail and lots of hair on the fetlocks. In the Tinker are the mighty Shire horse, the powerful Clydesdale, the majestic Friesian and the sure-footed Dales Pony. These were bred by travellers to the UK and Ireland to make for a strong and sturdy pull- and workhorse. At the same time they stayed very much on top of the horses characters. They should be absolutely gentle and reliable. To date, the Tinker is known and loved for these characteristics. It is therefore often used as a therapy horse. Dimensions   14 x 4,5 x 11 cm (W x D x H) Age Recommendation   3-8 years

Schleich HOLSTEIN COW

The Schleich figures are modelled with attention to detail, hand- painted with care, and provide educationally valuable playtime. Cows can’t understand human language, but they can distinguish between a friendly and an unfriendly tone of voice. They can also tell from the tone of voice whether someone is serious and sincere. Cows show affection by licking each others’ heads, shoulders and backs. If they are separated from their friends, they often get stressed and sad. It’s not difficult for cows to tell each other apart: they have unique voices and scents. In addition, the animals can identify up to 100 faces from their herd and are highly intelligent. Not only can they solve puzzles, but they actually really enjoy them. If they work out how to open a gate with a button, they jump up and down and frolic around. Dimensions   5 x 2.5 x 3.2 inch (W x D x H) Age Recommendation   3-8 years
